Hammer is releasing a series of limited edition 4K restorations, meticulously curated, beautifully packaged, and created with collectors and Hammer fans in mind. From horror to crime to sci-fi and all points in between, the new range is the definitive way to experience and capture Hammer’s legacy.

Titles are being carefully chosen from Hammer’s legendary archive to release each month, newly restored in 4K and complete with HDR grading and Dolby Vision, bringing these films to life like never before on both UHD and Blu-ray. These editions span the full spectrum of Hammer’s output, from deep-cut rarities to genre-defining icons that helped shape cinematic horror.

Every title in the range is a limited-edition release, with premium packaging and exciting additions, such as brand-new documentaries, interviews, expert commentary tracks, alternate cuts, and archival extras. Each set includes a booklet with fresh essays and rare behind-the-scenes images. Many releases also come with artcards, posters, and specially commissioned artwork from some of the world’s best illustrators.

The Limited Collector’s Edition Range is a project that’s part restoration, part celebration, and all about honouring the legacy of Hammer in its most definitive form. Read more about Hammer’s Limited Collector’s Edition Range here.

Hammer’s latest release is The Quatermass Xperiment (1955), the sci-fi horror classic that was a defining turning point in Hammer’s history and set the standard for British sci-fi horror. Seventy years after its original release, its mix of cold scientific realism and creeping horror remains as chilling as ever.

Newly remastered in 4K, this restoration delivers exceptional clarity and contrast, bringing out the full impact of the film’s eerie atmosphere and striking cinematography — carefully preserving its original tone and texture.

This groundbreaking classic comes with premium packaging, exclusive extras, in-depth historical content, and original material from the 1953 TV series. Find out more about The Quatermass Collection and pre-order The Quatermass Experiment Limited Collector’s Edition on the Hammer Films website, before the release date on the 9th June.

The Quatermass Xperiment is also back in UK cinemas nationwide this June. Book your tickets here.

Hammer’s next release will be the sequel, the widely acclaimed Quatermass 2 (1957), featuring the return of Brian Donlevy as Bernard Quatermass.

Uncover a gripping tale of alien infiltration and Cold War paranoia in this chilling follow-up to Hammer’s sci-fi breakthrough. Pre-order here before the release on 14th July.
