John Gore Studios today announced the appointment of Anouska Spiers as Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel, a newly expanded senior leadership role overseeing the studio’s operations alongside its business and legal affairs. In addition, Anouska will continue to lead the strategic growth and commercial vision for Hammer Films, one of the studio’s flagship labels.
In her role, Anouska will work closely with the Studio’s senior leadership team to support the continued expansion of John Gore Studios’ integrated studio model, spanning IP and catalogue acquisition, film and TV development, production, restoration and global distribution. She brings extensive expertise in the management, exploitation and protection of IP-driven franchises and entertainment properties, with a focus on ensuring their long-term growth, cultural legacy and ability to engage future generations of audiences.

Anouska is a qualified Solicitor in England and Wales, specialising in media and entertainment law and intellectual property. Previous roles have seen her work with some of the world’s most influential entertainment brands, including J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World, where she was part of the team behind the launch of Pottermore, and Matthew Vaughn’s Kingsman franchise. She also brings significant experience working with heritage brands and renowned literary estates through her role at International Literary Properties and her ongoing collaboration with the Estate of Ray Bradbury.
Anouska will join CEO Hilary Strong’s executive leadership team, which includes Francis Hopkinson, Creative Director and Jonathan Lack, Chief Acquisitions Officer.
